Greetings Hitmen & Happy New Year,
Many of you whom have been with NLC for more than a couple of years may know Aaron & Darla Yount. They have been long time members of our church and lifted many within the body in times of need.
Sadly, Aaron dies last week of a massive stroke very unexpectedly and Darla can use our help with some minor things ASAP. Specifically, we need to get a crew together to clean the leaves from her yard for this Saturday. I need about 10 volunteers to help us clear leaves and pine needles from her yard. We will meet at Kerries Country Kitchen at 0700 this Saturday morning for breakfast and fellowship then we will head to Darla’s house.
The lot is about 1/2 acre located in West Little Rock. I don't see the leaves taking much time. However, there are a lot of pine needles, quite a lot. Our plan is to use some tarps, rake those needles, and leaves, onto the tarps and dump them across the street, where there are some woods. Although we will have some materials we need Hitmen to bring their own rakes, or electric blowers and extension cords. Just remember that pine needles don’t work well with blowers and we will still have dispose of the leaves. If everyone brings whatever bags they have around their house we should have more than enough if we have to bag everything.

Please help us show this wonderful woman of God that she is loved and covered by the men of NLC in her husband’s eternal absence. Obviously, the more the merrier – and the quicker so I for one pray for a large turn-out.
