About the New Life Church Men's MAFIA Ministries:

“…but among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must become your slave. For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:26-28 (NLT)

The New Life Church Men's MAFIA (Men After Faith, Integrity & Action) is a Christian fellowship of brothers-in-Christ dedicated to supporting each another, the NLC congregation and the community-at-large through service outreach (H.I.T.S. – Helping in the Spirit) , masculine accountability & encouragement, discipleship and prayer ministries.

Hit at Audubon Pointe Retirement Home Saturday, 2/21/09

Good evening Hitmen,

The following HIT request has been sent down from "The Godfather" (aka: John Craft) and Mr. Don Greenwell of our Primetime Ministries. This weekend the NLC MAFIA is planning a HIT on the Audubon Point Retirement Home located next to Lake Willistein. We will be helping 80 year old Ms. Barbara Owens of our very own Primetime Ministries load her belongings into a Penske moving truck and head out to California to spend the rest of her retirement with family. Ms. Owens has a small 2-room apartment at Audubon Point and she could use our help loading up. In the event that you are not aware, the facility has an elevator so bringing her belongings down will be pretty stress free.

The Plan:

The MAFIA Hitmen will meet at 0745 at Kerrie's Kountry Kitchen for breakfast fellowship and prayer. After our meal we will be going over to the retirement home to "knock it out" about 0900. Based upon past practice, I don't expect the hit to take more than an hour, provided we get 5 or 6 Hitmen involved.

The Contact:

Those interested in helping should contact Luke Ribich at lribich@asigllc.com or on his cell at (501) 944-0562. Once a team ready to serve, the list will be sent to Mr. Craft and Mr. Greenwell so they will know who to expect.

In His service,

Luke Ribich
